Entries to be submitted by Saturday 27th January 2018 and delivered to Tunnel Mural Competition Hand-In desk at Weymouth Library, Great George Street, Weymouth DT4 8NN between 9am and 4pm. If you are a group/school/ college/institution submitting several entries please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a special collection.
Remember to keep the Judges from knowing who the design is by fill out the Entry Form with a Unique Code – made up by you. Do Not use your name and to avoid misreading do not use a 1 or 0 or I or O as these letters and numbers get confused. Write clearly in upper case one number for letter for each of the ten boxes. Then decide which of the eight design Themes best conveys your design – there is no ranking of importance between the Themes – is it to be in the Theme category:
1. Abstract / Pattern
2. Narrative / Story Telling
5. The Past
6. The Future
8. Music / Sound
whichever Theme is most appropriate write the corresponding reference number in the 1st box.
Now with that decided write the exact same code on an envelop and place your Entry Form inside and seal so no one can read your identity until the Award Ceremony when the Prizes are anounced. Don’t forget to write the same code clearly on the back of your 95cm x 35cm design sheet.
All entries submitted will be given a receipt recording its Unique Code which should be kept safe. Entries can not be returned but can be collected on 31st March 2018 from Weymouth Library, Great George Street, Weymouth DT4 8NN between 2pm and 4pm only if identified by this receipt otherwise the work will be recycled.
