Join us for our annual butterfly identification walk along the Rodwell Trail.

Experts from Butterfly Conservation will help you identify the many species of butterfly to be seen flying in August along the Trail. These should include Holly Blue, Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock, Comma, Meadow Brown, Small and Large skippers the many different Whites and more.

We have counted up to 15 different species on previous walks.

All are welcome. The easy walk should last about 2 hours along the Trail.

This walk has also been advertised locally and nationally by Butterfly Conservation and Sir David Attenborough. Last week he spoke about nature and mental health as he launched the Big Butterfly Count.
